Commercial license – Without time limit
With a Full commercial license, you can use the fully functional ARCHICAD product with unlimited usage. You will be able to run older versions as well.
Rental license – Time limit
With the rental option, you can buy a license for a certain time period (1, 3, 6 months). You can use ARCHICAD without any limitation. You can choose rentail license if you want to save money or if you only need to use the software for a certain period of time.

Education version is a fully functional version that can be installed with a serial number. This temporary serial number will give you 30-days usage
After your registration your given credentials go through an approval stage, where GRAPHISOFT’s local representative sends you the final serial that will be valid for 1 year. When the 1 year license expires you can renew it for free of charge. EDU files have an irremovable logo at the top right corner. This logo will be present on all printouts. Educational (EDU) License
Education version is a fully functional version that can be installed with a serial number. This logo will be present on all printouts. EDU project files can be opened with a commercial version of ARCHICAD, in which case ARCHICAD switches to EDU mode and the logo will be present. Commercial project files can be opened with an EDU version of ARCHICAD.

A Trial License can be used to run a fully functional version for 30 days. Files written by the trial version are encrypted and can only be opened on the computer where they were created. The files can be converted to full files by purchasing a commercial license and opening with the protection key on the computer they were written.
